Aysha Wallace is a New York City based Costume Designer and Stylist with over 15 years of experience. She is dedicated to the visual storytelling of Television and Film and passionate about bringing complex characters to life through their wardrobe. Her diverse portfolio spans projects such as Daredevil: Born Again from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Saturday Night Live, When They See Us, and Orange Is The New Black, showcasing her versatility and meticulous attention to detail across the industry.
What sets Aysha's approach apart is her unique foundation. Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Aysha's design sensibilities are informed by a rich tapestry of her Jamaican and American roots. Aysha holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Fine Art from the University of Pittsburgh. This formal education adds an unexpected blend of creativity and rigor to her work. After college, Aysha began her professional journey in the fashion industry, working at a skateboarding company called CCS and taking fashion styling classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). It was through this exploration and curiosity that she discovered and fell in love with costume design.
